Meet Our Team
Supply Minister
Rev
Dr. Garry van Bruchem - bruchem@gmail.com
Garry was appointed to serve as Fenwick's supply
minister beginning on September 1, 2022. Supply ministry appointments are
made when a congregation is searching for its next minister, typically for six
months and these appointments are renewable.
Garry has been serving the United Church in ministry for over 25 years. He retired from Fonthill United Church in January 2020, then served as supply minister for Delta United Church in Hamilton until June 2022. Garry is married to Sigita and they live in Fonthill. They have two grown sons: Andrew (38) who lives in Waterloo and Niklas (31) who lives in Guelph.
Garry and Sigita enjoy the great outdoors: hiking, kayaking and riding their bicycles. Recently they took up pickleball and are looking forward to playing on the new courts in Centennial Park.
Music Ministry
William Outred - fenwick.united.church@gmail.com
William joined our staff as music director in 2012. He brings with him 28 years of experience working in many area churches in various denominations. His love of music began at four years of age, when he sat down at the organ and began to play.
When he’s not at the console, you may find him in our neighbourhood tuning a piano or painting a living room. Fenwick United has a true love of music and should you stop in for worship, you will hear the rafters shake with the heartfelt singing of a well-trained choir and a congregation that loves to sing.
Children's Ministry
